I forgot to post this - A family at the NICU who we had become friends with was very surprised last night to see us back. He joked with us that we had lost our seniority by going home and coming back and that they were now the family in the NICU the longest. Greg told him that once you hit 120 days, you get tenure and you don't lose seniority!! We all had a good laugh!
We all get to be a big family through this experience and it's nice to know that we can sometimes still have a sense of humor about it all!!

What a small world! I'm from B'ham! I must have seen you a hundred times! We were in the NICU with my little twin nieces from Sep.26- Oct.16th (Dr. Mena). I have the whole sory on my blog! Your little girls are precious. I just can't imagine how I ended up on your blog, and to think we have been in the same places, so funny. We have been praying for you and didn't even know it. We prayed every night for all the babies and parents in the NICU. I hope your babe is well.
Kelly and Greg-
Please know we are praying for Kathryn. I know she is a fighter and will be home soon. 2008 will be a great year for the Ellis Family. We miss you all and hope to see you soon.
Dear Kelly and Greg,
Y'all amaze me with your positive attitude! I know you are a "gift" to the other moms and dads in the NICU, but like you, I'll be glad when you can all be back home together and no more traveling back and forth to the hospital. Sounds like Kathryn is making great improvement and we look forward to the 2nd homecoming pictures!! We love you guys,
Love, Cyndi & Harris
