I have not had a pre-term baby, but as a mommy I know there is no price tag you can put on our children! You have 2 miracles in your lives that are worth everything. Millions, billions whatever it takes.
Please know that anyone with a heart is so sorry you had to take these harsh words.
Greg & Kelly, I've just finished reading all of this. Ben and I are absolutely speechless. Between the organizations that Ben and I work for, there is an incredible amount of money spent with The News. I also am in frequent contact with the News editorial staff. Therefore, tomorrow morning I'm making a few phone calls and sending a couple of emails.
We will be at the March for Babies on Saturday and I'm considering printing the article and handing it out to the other preemie parents in attendance.
I'm surprised that we haven't seen a bill from Mr. Parks for Olivia's treatment.
I guess the right thing to do would be to pray for him..as difficult as it may be.

I am so glad to know that the main news avenue in Birmingham employs such up-standing, honorable people. What a disappointment!
