Way to go Kelly! It will be interesting to see if the writer of that article ever contacts you. I would imagine not, I hope that HE (I am making an assumption here)is cowering under a rock somewhere.
Good for you! What a completely idiotic artice. Whoever wrote it must not have ever seen what a miracle a preemie can be. I know I see one everyday in Carson and the 40 days we got to spend with Cooper were a gift I would never give up for anything. Not once did I ever question any of the choices we made!
Kelly I'm so proud of you for writing this letter to the editor. As you said so perfectly, there isn't a question in your mind as to whether or not you should allow the doctors to use any technology available to help your tiny baby. I only had seven days with Olivia, but those are days that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I will NEVER regret the decision we made. I think I may add a letter to their inbox. Thank you for standing up for preemie babies! Oh and by the way, I'll be at the March for Babies Saturday. We have a family team - Olivia's Butterflies! :)
